I want to encourage you, and challenge you, with a special Christmas Gift, wrapped just for you.

It is early Christmas morning. It is the calm before the storm. The living room is dark, except for the soft glow of the Christmas tree lights and their reflection on the festive presents placed carefully around the bottom of the tree. I take in the moment. How many more Christmases will our home be filled with the conversation and laughter of our wonderful children? What will their future Christmases be like?

A verse comes to mind. “… at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:6.

At the right time Christ came and He fulfilled His purpose. I think of us and the call God has placed upon each of our hearts. And two more verses come to mind.

“… And in Thy book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.” Psalm 139:16

God knows all about us, even all the days of our life. Even more amazing is the next verse.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 NASB

God has a plan for Good Works for each of us. God has prepared this plan beforehand; before we were born! Just like with Christ, at the right time applies to us; to even this day. Even today, God has a plan for you; that you should walk in it.

My prayer for you, and for me, is that we graciously receive this Christmas gift and unwrap it each and every day and “walk in it”.
